GTA 6 Setting and Characters: Leonida, Vice City, Jason and Lucia
The state of Leonida
GTA 6 is set in the fictional state of Leonida, which Rockstar describes as home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond. This is the first mainline entry to give the player a full state rather than a single city and its outskirts.
Two protagonists
The game has dual protagonists: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Lucia is the first female playable protagonist in a mainline Grand Theft Auto game.
Confirmed locations
Rockstar has released official screenshots showing named locations including Mount Kalaga National Park, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Grassrivers, alongside Vice City itself.
What is not confirmed
The full map layout is not official. Every detailed GTA 6 map circulating online is fan reconstruction built from trailer analysis and leaked material, not a Rockstar release. The voice cast has also not been confirmed, despite widely repeated fan casting. We do not publish either as fact.
