GTA 6 Price and Editions: Standard vs Ultimate
The two editions
Rockstar has confirmed two editions. The Standard Edition costs $79.99 (€75 / £64) and the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 (€94 / £80). That is a $20 gap between them.
You can upgrade later
If you buy Standard and change your mind, you can upgrade to Ultimate afterwards by paying the $20 difference. You are not locked out by buying the cheaper edition first, which makes Standard the lower-risk choice if you are undecided.
Pre-order bonuses
Purchases made before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack. Digital pre-orders also include one free month of GTA+, Rockstar's subscription service. Boxed pre-orders do not include the GTA+ month.
Worth noting
The $79.99 standard price is above the $69.99 that has been typical for major console releases. Rockstar has not published a full contents breakdown of what separates the two editions beyond the pre-order items, so if the Ultimate extras matter to you, it is worth waiting for that detail before committing.
